It’s really magical how God or the universe connect you with people like you. Just like now, I am surrounded by amazing queer people and allies. We may have differences, but we are united by Pride as opposed to shame and social stigma. The good part of this is that we are here not just to hang out but also to make a difference in our own little ways.
So for 2022, let’s continue to be true to ourselves. Remember, to be out and proud means standing up not just for yourself but also for those who are still in a place where it’s not yet safe for them to come out. Deep in my heart, I know that if we continue what we do, there will be a brighter future for the next generation and generations to come.
